§1 Scope

 

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts concluded between us (hereinafter referred to as "Provider") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as "Customer") via our online platform for the rental of lighting and sound equipment as well as for the booking of orders in the booking calendar on the homepage.

 

§2 Conclusion of contract

 

2.1 The presentation of products and services on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to place an order or make a booking.

 

2.2 By clicking the button “Rent now” or “Book now”, the customer submits a binding offer to conclude a rental or service contract.

 

2.3 The contract is concluded when the provider accepts the customer’s order or booking by sending an order confirmation via email.

 

§3 Rental period, return and scope of services

 

3.1 For the rental of lighting and sound equipment, the rental period begins and ends at the dates specified in the rental agreement. The customer undertakes to return the rented equipment in proper condition by the agreed return date at the latest.

 

3.2 The scope of services when booking orders is determined from the respective description of the service on the homepage and the order confirmation.

 

§4 Prices and payment conditions

 

4.1 Prices are based on the current price list and are set out in the rental agreement or order confirmation.

 

4.2 Payment shall be made according to the payment methods specified in the ordering or booking process.

 

§5 Cancellation and withdrawal

 

5.1 The customer may cancel the rental agreement or order free of charge up to 7 days before the agreed date.

 

5.2 In case of cancellation within 7 days before the start of the rental period or the rental date, a cancellation fee of 15% of the contract value will be due.

 

§6 Liability and Insurance

 

6.1 The customer is liable for all damage to the rented items that occurs during the rental period, unless the damage was demonstrably caused by the provider.

 

6.2 It is recommended to take out insurance for the rented items.

 

6.3 The provider is liable for the proper provision of the agreed service in accordance with the statutory provisions.

 

6.4 The customer must notify us in writing of any obvious defects in the service immediately, but no later than 7 days after the service has been provided.

 

§7 Final provisions

 

7.1 Any changes or additions to the contract must be made in writing.

 

7.2 Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the remainder of the contract shall remain valid. The statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid provision.

 

7.3 The contract language is German.
